“A nice place to come after a long day at the beach”
The distance to the beach and the main road was good, and the room was set up nicely for our stay with our 4‑year‑old. A couple of rainy days passed, and the staff were very accommodating, letting us hang out in the common area to play games and pass the time. Our AC stopped working and it was very hot. We told the staff, who sent maintenance to fix it, but it wasn't actually fixed. They sent maintenance again and he said he couldn’t fix it— the HVAC company had to come out. He promised to bring a portable unit to our room, but when he returned he didn’t have one and said he was told not to bring it. When we told the desk staff, they said they would find a way to give us cool air and we just had to wait a bit. Eventually they gave us a portable unit for a night, and then the HVAC company came to fix it.
