The view over the Bodetal was nice. The staff didn't know about my booking, were very unfriendly and annoyed, and I didn't feel welcome. In the morning, the printed bill suddenly added an 8 Euro parking fee. I was on the hotel parking lot from 20 Uhr to 9 Uhr, but 200 m away it was free overnight. I was not informed in any way, even though I had to call in the evening to register because no staff were at the hotel. When I asked the staff member who collected my bill why I had to pay that fee, he called his boss. I would have preferred to ask him directly. Overall, for this old and run-down pension the overnight price is very high.

It was right on the Hexenstieg, and the morning staff were very friendly. The room needs more renovation and the whole house is old.

Because the Harzer Jodlermeister had to close, we were redirected to the Forelle in Treseburg. It was a super nice holiday. The food was top, the room clean, and the staff friendly. We would love to come back.

We felt very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and promptly helped us even after I messed up the arrival date. I would book again whenever we’re back in the Harz. Thanks to the whole team 🤗
