Everything was perfect. Mr. Sequeira’s service was excellent. We happened to be alone in the lodge because it was low season, so I can’t comment on noise levels, but we were just the two of us, haha. There’s a lovely little room upstairs with a hammock and sofas that I loved, and we made good use of it. The breakfast was spectacular, all delicious. I was surprised that even though it was just us, they still did everything in full—this says a lot about their service. The bed was comfortable, the décor was nice, and the bathroom was good. There’s a hairdryer, but you have to ask for it. The area is convenient for reaching downtown streets and the main Maragogi beach. We booked a tour there for the natural pools, and everything went smoothly.

The accommodation was excellent, and the host Siqueira’s reception was outstanding. He gave precise directions, helped with transportation, was very helpful, and earned a 1000 rating.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location is good! However, there were signs around the lodge warning about stained towels—“stained, paid for”—yet all the towels we were given were stained. On one day I tried to go down to change towels, but none were 100% clean. I had a roach problem in the room. In one of the rooms I stayed, the shower was awful. The bed, pillows, and facilities were poor, the room was small, and the sheets were old. It doesn’t match the ratings other people give here, and for the price paid, there are better lodge options. It needs a good renovation and new amenities.
