“Very nice and quiet pension next to a small castle with nice views. Quite basic, but comfy rooms.”

The castle itself looks pretty good and the pension is basically part of it. The views were great and being perched on a hill makes it very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are a bit bare (no desk, etc.) and the directions were confusing. They said you should drive through a road that’s actually a hiking path and cars aren’t allowed, but they didn’t mention that, so we thought we were lost. We had to call them for directions, and they met us right away to show us, but that could have been avoided with a clearer note in the email. Mobile signal is almost nonexistent and we weren’t told about the Wi‑Fi beforehand. There was a small sticker on the top corner of the main door with the Wi‑Fi details, but we didn’t spot it until the next day, unfortunately

“Spíše zklamání”

Getting the keys and parking confirmation was very easy following the instructions; we also appreciated the option to drive straight up to the building. The accommodation itself is in a nice spot with a beautiful view, and in the afternoon we could grab a bite at the kiosk. On the downside, there was an unpleasant odor in the hallway and the walls were very thin. We could hear the neighbors from the adjacent room as if they were chatting with us, and the bathroom furniture was ruined—wet and swollen. The shower drain was poorly draining, so after a long hike we were looking forward to a long shower, but that was basically impossible.
