The family suite was huge, with a big bathroom that even had a bathtub. Breakfast covered everything—sweet and savory—and they let us shift the start time, which saved us on a Sunday when we had to leave early. There’s a pool table, darts, a terrace and a garden, and the hotel sits in a quiet spot while still being close to the water dams. The on‑site restaurant is also worth a try.

The room and bathroom were massive, and the bed felt really comfy. Breakfast left something to be desired – you had to fry your own eggs even though staff were around, and the coffee came with tiny milk‑cream cups instead of a proper milk jug. A bit more variety would have made it better.

We got a warm reception and a lovely little park to enjoy breakfast in. The bed was super comfortable, the room stayed quiet, and overall it was a great stay.
