A charming historic building with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast included in the rate, and they offered plenty of local tips and dining recommendations. The beds were incredibly comfortable, though the room felt a bit dim because it’s tucked in a courtyard, and the water temperature was too hot at first but fixed right away.

The breakfast was solid, but the location left me uneasy; as a solo female guest, I had to knock for the door to be opened, which felt a bit awkward. The neighborhood was quiet and not unsafe, yet the vibe was lacking—just plain average. The staff were fine, with only one person on duty, and the security guards were very friendly, but overall I didn’t feel any special atmosphere.

The owner and Pamela were fantastic, offering a wealth of useful suggestions that we followed to the letter, and they even upgraded our room as a bonus.
