Pensjonat Alpejski Dwór

The property exceeded our expectations. The wonderful owners make you feel at home. Mr. Marek cooks superbly, and Mrs. Marlena keeps the place lively. The restaurant food was delicious and the breakfasts were generous, made from excellent local products—true Polish flavor. The rooms were beautiful and atmospheric, and the Alpejski Dwór location lets you relax in nature with a stunning mountain view. The sauna and pool are also worth using. After a full day on the trail, nothing tastes better than kwaśnica, sourdough bread, Russian pierogi, and homemade raspberry liqueur. It’s a place we’ll gladly return to. There was nothing missing; everything pleased us.

The staff were very friendly, breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection of meats and dairy, good teas and a variety of herbal blends. The only drawback was the surprise that card payments were not accepted.

The location was great and the breakfast excellent. However, two single beds were joined instead of a double with two separate mattresses as advertised, and the main event in the inn that night made it impossible to rest, which should not have happened.

“Stylowy alpejski wypoczynek.”

The location demands fitness – you have to climb both to the property and up the stairs – but it’s a beautiful spot among forested slopes. The building is stylish with nice details. Breakfast featured local and homemade items served in a lovely glassed‑in room overlooking the mountains. The owner was friendly and smiling, personally greeting and saying goodbye to each guest. The only issues were that hot water was unavailable on the second floor; after evening intervention it worked but mornings still had no hot water. The double bed was placed in a corner, making access a bit awkward for one person. The bathroom, tucked next to the bed, was poorly sound‑proofed, lacking privacy.
