The breakfast was ‘made to order’ and offered an excellent variety. The only downside was that the town was a little too far to walk to, especially in very hot weather.

Friendly owners really helped us with our EV charging issues, and the rooms were cozy, spotless, and the breakfast was excellent—fresh breads, homemade jams, ham, cheese, juice, and yoghurt. The pool was nice and clean too. The free charging option is very slow, so I’d recommend getting a fast charger nearby or not using it at all; the fast charger is close by and works with international cards.

The location is excellent for this guesthouse, quiet and only a few minutes’ drive from Carcassonne. The owner gave a very good welcome with all necessary explanations, the pool had a beautiful view, the breakfast was excellent, and there was a possibility to park the car near the room. The bathroom feels a bit outdated, clean but not neat. The terrace is a bit dull; a small table and two chairs are tucked against the walls of the guesthouse, and there’s no view except of our car.
