The dinner was good, the parking was secure, and I enjoyed a clean bath in the bathroom. However, the bedroom was dirty with stained wallpaper, dusty paint, only one cup on the drinks tray, and one spare pillow for two people. The room was on the ground floor with a bathroom window overlooking a terrace where people could sit; only voile curtains were available, so anyone on the terrace could see what I was doing when the bathroom light was on. We were told the pool was open, but when we got there it was unusable because it was pea‑green. The restaurant and gardens were pretty, but the rest of the hotel needs work.

The staff’s warmth, the well‑maintained breakfast room, the food offered, the pool, the excellent restaurant, the room cleanliness, and the calm, quiet atmosphere—all were perfect. Nothing was lacking.
