I loved the room and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the breakfast was very limited and the staff that morning seemed clueless about making coffee, tea, toast, and the like.

I LIVED IN WILLIAMSBURG 1964 TO 2023. I KNEW THE PRIOR OWNER OF THIS PROPERTY WELL. THE PROPERTY HAS BEEN PRESERVED AND NICELY RENOVATED AND IS A WELCOME CHANGE FROM THE USUAL SUSPECTS. I DID HAVE COFFEE SATURDAY MORNING, BUT DID NOT PARTAKE OF ANYTHING ELSE. WHEN I MA BACK THAT WAY I WILL STAY AGAIN. The old water feature on the left‑hand side of the entry driveway could either be made functional or removed. Otherwise the property is very nice. My room #10 was well appointed and comfortable. Great shower.

Breakfast was the expected light continental fare, and I was glad you used local food and coffee. The location is great, with a nice walk around the quaint grounds, quiet enough to give you that serene countryside feeling. I had to ask for a fourth set of towels because we were four but only received three sets; once I texted them at almost midnight, the staff responded immediately—excellent service, honest to goodness.
