We absolutely loved our time at the historic Hotel Schwarzer Adler; the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and featured a small balcony overlooking the rooftops and mountains. The breakfast was generous and offered an excellent buffet of hot and cold dishes, including good‑quality GF bread. We were pleasantly surprised by the laundry facilities available to guests, which were much needed during our trip. The hotel is within walking distance of the railway station, main sights, and restaurants in the historic city.
