Breakfast was a joke; we never found any free coffee. It was the worst place we’ve ever stayed. I disliked everything: no hot water for showers, no remote in the room, the TV was broken and I spent two hours trying to fix it, and a sour smell permeated the space.

I woke up early and left feeling oddly satisfied. The staff were unhelpful, and there were cockroaches throughout the property. The first room had no working TV, and the phone had no cord. After three visits to the front desk, I was moved to a second‑floor room that was almost impossible to locate—no stairwell sign, and the desk associate finally pointed to a key‑locked door with no identification. Inside, walls and doors had holes, cockroaches were everywhere, and the whole place smelled bad. I tried not to open my bags and just look forward to the next day, but it was frustrating.

The young lady at the front desk was wonderful. Unfortunately, people were moving through the halls all night, the bathroom ceiling leaked, and I left with a swollen rash on my face—probably from the pillow or pillowcase. My friends couldn’t sleep because the room next to theirs had people fighting all night. I’ve stayed at Motel 6 many times, and this was an awful experience.

The people were friendly, but there were cockroaches and the sink faucet was loose. The bathtub looked like it had just been painted.
