We’re really in pure Japanese architecture. Mrs. Keiko’s welcome is unmatched. The breakfast was exceptional and appetizing. The environment is Spartan, and the amenities are shared, so it all depends on who you share the space with.

“Cool experience”

Keiko, the host, was incredible—she made the whole trip feel like a family visit. The accommodation is an old‑style building that gives the vibe of staying in grandma’s house, and we occupied the large room with my husband and two kids. I wasn’t chasing luxury; I wanted a unique experience, and this place delivered. The only drawback was that in the shower you could only use the water while standing in the tub; otherwise it leaked. The hostess fixed that by taking me to the onsen.

“風呂トイレ共有”

部屋と、２名の合計料金をよく確認して予約しましたが、到着後「これは１名の料金だから」と言われ、"現金で倍額"を要求されました。 他のサイトや宿と比較しながらプランを立てた身としては、非常に不満が残りました。 他で泊まりたかったです。 Bookingサイトのミス？ これ、もしや常習？ 共有トイレ、風呂、洗面所(1ヶ所)まで 階段昇り降りの一番奥。廊下を歩くにも気を使いました。 ウォシュレットは機能しませんでした。

“思いがけず、広い部屋と海岸に近い素敵な場所に宿泊できて満足でした。”

It was the last night of a long holiday, and even though the bathroom and toilet were shared, the second floor had two rooms and I was the only guest, so I could use the bath and toilet whenever I wanted. The biggest plus was that the rooms were separate, not a single unit bath, and there were no wall stains typical of guesthouses, so the stay was comfortable. The parking was tight, and it was a shame I couldn’t meet the staff for a farewell when I left.

“Facilities a little tired and stairs awful”

The place had laundry facilities, but the stairs were a hassle and there was no hot water in the kitchen basin.
