The surroundings are quiet and the sea views are very pretty, ideal for those looking to disconnect. Jesus, the host, was friendly and always available whenever we needed him, showing a cordial attitude throughout our stay. We booked this place because of the description and price, expecting a comfortable, well-equipped, and well-maintained rural house. However, the reality does not match the expectations set by the listing. The value for money felt very poor. The fridge available is just a minibar, clearly insufficient for a week‑long stay in a remote house where you have to drive to shop. Cleaning was the most disappointing aspect. Despite paying 90 € for it, we found plenty of spider webs, dirt, and dust in closets, furniture, windows, doors, and mirrors. We understand that a stone house in a rural setting needs more upkeep, but that is exactly why cleaning should be even more rigorous. The house also has poor insulation, letting insects and dirt in from outside, which greatly reduces comfort. Another important issue is the electrical system. During our stay we had to monitor consumption and recharge the batteries to ensure power at night. We believe this limitation should be clearly stated in the listing so guests can decide with full information. Sleep was also problematic. The bed was very uncomfortable, with a mattress on a wooden slat base. We had to buy an inflatable mattress to try to improve sleep, but even that did not help us rest well over the week. We appreciate the host’s friendliness, but we feel that these major shortcomings in cleanliness, equipment, comfort, and accuracy of the description cannot be compensated for. If the accommodation were described more precisely, every traveler could decide whether the conditions justify the price.
