The view is breathtaking, and the house chef is incredibly friendly, personally attending to guests. He shared a lot about the house’s history and that of the city. Breakfast is outstanding, with the best view in town. However, we had to pay for coffee at breakfast, even though the breakfast was included, which felt a bit odd.

The hotel sits right in the old town, reached by rustic stone stairways that weren’t obvious from the map, so you can’t drive straight up and have to carry your luggage several meters (50‑90). The owner immediately steps in to help, so it’s not a problem for us, though I wouldn’t recommend it for wheelchair users. We had a very nice, clean room and the owners are very careful about keeping everything in order. A very good breakfast was served on the terrace with a great view from 8:00 to 9:00. Since parking in the city centre is always a hassle, we took the owner’s offer and rented a paid parking spot a short distance from the hotel. The location is excellent—everything is within walking distance. On a few occasions, I wondered if some business‑savvy decisions were being made here.

Well located in Mangalem, this lovely family‑run hotel is close to everything. The terrace is gorgeous for drinks and breakfast. The owner helped us find all the main attractions and can arrange parking very close by for 10 euros, or there’s free parking a bit further away. It was a bit tricky to find at first, but Aleksander helped and everything turned out fine.

The location in the centre of Mangalem is fantastic, the house is great, the staff is very friendly, and breakfast is super good.
