We stayed one night to visit friends, and the location was ideal for that. The price was reasonable, and with multiple nights the 'final cleaning' fee becomes less significant. We had a room with a bathroom—beds were made, there were plenty of towels, and a soap dispenser in the bath. The morning chorus of cranes was lovely, and the final bill listed several individual items. We could have cooked breakfast in a shared kitchen, but we only needed one night, so it wasn’t necessary. We never saw the kitchen or dining room. Parking is available, and we managed to use the bike rack in the dark.
