A 45‑minute drive away from home gives a nice change of scenery. The setting is very friendly, with a spa and nature walks, making it perfect for couples or families. The only downside was that the room wasn’t well insulated from noise.

The location is great, but the place really could do better. The wellness area feels completely neglected; it's supposed to be a “relaxation” zone, yet kids were jumping and shouting all the time. On top of that, the Nordic bath was always locked and almost exclusively reserved. No staff watched over it, and people were drinking, eating, and smoking even though it was forbidden.

The location is good. The bathroom and toilet have raised seats, there are no bedside tables, and the chair in the room isn’t very comfortable.

The estate is stunning! The gardens, the little moss‑covered pond below, and the castle terrace are all really beautiful. There’s a lot of charm, with lovely furnishings and genuine attention to décor. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is varied and offers choices, with the option to dine on the terrace while enjoying the estate. We also liked that all activities included in the room rate—mini‑golf, volleyball, bikes, etc.—are free, which is a big plus! Access to the spa, which is very cute, is also included. We stayed in the summer and the setting was truly gorgeous, making it a perfect spot for a short break. The main drawback is the spa: after 17:00, it gets much busier and it can be hard to find a spot on a lounge chair. The rooms are fairly simple, not luxurious, and some details feel a bit dated, like a creaking door or a few elements that could use a refresh. Still, it’s acceptable, and you shouldn’t expect 5‑star hotel service. For me, the real strength of this place is the setting: the estate, gardens, and outdoor spaces are magnificent and give a real high‑end feel. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a brief escape to enjoy a beautiful environment.
