Staying in a converted barn up on the mountain was a real treat – the décor is spot‑on, there’s a private pool table and a massive fireplace that never runs out of wood. Lilian and the other hosts were friendly and always around to help. We spent our days by a tiny fish‑filled lake, watching sheep and chickens, and the nearby Vel de Noiva waterfall and Morro da Igreja offered stunning views.
The place looks gorgeous and feels super cozy; every little detail seems to have been chosen with love. I’d definitely recommend it, and the host was an absolute sweetheart.
