The property was very clean and the room layout was well planned. The property is among the best I have stayed at for the price.

The new, large room was comfortable, the bed was super cozy, there was a hot and cold water dispenser with coffee and tea, multiple lighting options, and a smart TV (though I couldn’t get it to work, probably my fault). The towels were fluffy and the room was very clean. The location was good, though a scooter was necessary. The hotel supplied a scooter at a good price, which was a nice touch. The air conditioning was unpredictable and the remote didn’t always respond. Hot water in the shower ran out quickly and the pressure was weak. The owner’s dog barked every time we came and went, not aggressively but loudly. The staff were not very responsive to messages, whether on the app or via WhatsApp.
I was thrilled with my stay at Emman’s guest house; the room was spacious, the amenities were new and nice, and having hot water in Bohol was a pleasant surprise. The staff were kind and accommodating, offering coffee and remaining attentive throughout. The location was fine for me because it gave great, close access to the beach, though it is a bit farther from the city of Anda than other places to stay; that didn’t bother me since I enjoyed walking and there were plenty of Tuk Tuks available, but it’s something to consider if that isn’t your preference.
