We didn’t stay; we requested a change in advance. The hotel didn’t reply. Booking said we were waiting for news, and we didn’t go to the hotel that day. Yet the hotel still charged the full amount. According to policy and our communication with the hotel, 1) we could change via Booking but they kept not replying; 2) a no‑show should incur 50 % of the room fee, but they charged 100 % and didn’t refund.
