A wonderful stay surrounded by nature and close to the city center. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh homemade food, especially the little cakes made by the owner that tasted like grandma’s house. The staff were very cordial and hospitable, and Andrei gave great tips on sights and restaurants. My son loved the lodge’s mascot, the Bear, and wanted to take it home! A fantastic place for families to recharge after a day of touring. Highly recommended!

“Ótimo custo-benefício em Urubici.”

We arrived at Refugio MontSerrat for one night, but the room, bed, and location were so good that we stayed two nights. I recommend Refugio MontSerrat for couples and families visiting Urubici—a restful spot in nature close to attractions like Cascata do Avencal. A better heater would have helped in the room during my stay, and the shower could have been stronger and hotter because of the cold.

“Hospedagem”

Finding the location was hard and the review already warned about it. I only managed to locate it with help from a nearby resident, and the difficulty grew because it was after 18 h, everything dark, after about 7 hours of travel. I almost gave up from exhaustion, but it was worth it for the atmosphere. The owners’ dedication and care, the restaurant recommendations, all worked. I stayed in winter and the room had a very high ceiling, which made it even colder, but that was what I wanted. A portable heater in the room helped. The location is still an issue, but the owners warn about it and send a video on WhatsApp to guide guests. Breakfast starts at 07:30 min, probably because it’s winter and I wanted to travel early, so I couldn’t.

The service was friendly, the atmosphere family‑friendly and the nature unmatched. Nothing else to mention.
