“A little Medina Gem 💎”

If you want an authentic Riad, this is it. It has beautiful rustic charm and is a perfect introduction to the Medina of Essaouira. After a long day of travel, we were warmly welcomed with hot coffee and cookies by Mohammed, who did so much for us. The breakfast he prepared was fit for a king, setting us up for the whole day. Our bedroom was very comfortable and spacious, with a quirky internal bathroom. We loved our 2‑night stay here. The location is desirable with parking found outside the Medina. Nothing to dislike.

“Comfortable and welcoming”

The location and the gentleman who welcomes you and cooks breakfast are great—a real star. Nothing else. The rooftop could be made more social, but that is an extremely small point. Good value overall. A great place for my very first visit to Morocco.

“Unique, special and pure love.”

The spot is truly one-of-a-kind and sits in an excellent area. Mohamed is the most amazing host ever, making you feel welcomed and fortunate, and he’s incredibly accommodating to whatever we needed. The only downside is that if you’re sensitive to humidity, it can feel a little tough, but that doesn’t detract from the overall experience.

“Jolie Riad , je recommande au vue de son emplacement et de l extrême gentillesse de Mohammed.”

Mohammed is very kind, prepares very good, very hearty breakfasts, and always checks that everything is fine. It’s very well located. This Riad needs a big cleaning; all the rugs must be thrown out and it emits a nauseating odor. It needs a general freshening up.
