The room matched the description, everything was clean, and the hosts were kind. The bathroom had everything needed. The downside was that breakfast was not provided. Dinner could be ordered without trouble at the restaurant across the street, and by the way, they cook excellently.

The setting was beautiful, clean, quiet, and peaceful. The owner was very friendly and kind, and she warmed our food. There’s nothing to criticize, but it might be nice to have at least a small pot to reheat meals. :)

The location is great. A lovely, calm environment right by the bridge, a pension where the food was excellent, and a brewery. There are bike paths everywhere, a short walk to Nové Hradů, Trhové Svin, Austria, and Dobré Vody. The accommodation is new, clean, and pleasant; it’s small but sufficient for sleeping. Each room has a fridge, a kettle, mugs, plates, a cutting board, and a knife for making breakfast. Every room has its own entrance from the courtyard. Unfortunately, there is no shared kitchen as advertised, but with prior arrangement you can heat food in the owners’ outdoor kitchen.

“Traumhaft schöne bezaubernde Landschaft für Leute, die Ruhe und Natur lieben.”

The pension is situated in a small village with an old, well‑restored fortress and a small manor house in Renaissance style from the early 17th century. The entire complex, together with a Gothic church, sits on a hill overlooking a forested pond on its southern side. The village hosts a surprisingly good restaurant. Zumperk is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful landscape on the Austrian border, by e‑bike or on foot. Within 30‑40 km in all directions are several dreamy little towns with well‑preserved Renaissance buildings. Everything was perfect.

“Gerne wieder!”

There was no breakfast. The location is very quiet, historically and scenically interesting. Unfortunately, the reception was already closed.
