Nice, spacious room with a large bathroom, and dinner at the hotel was good and affordable. The room had a stale smell. Nothing else was happening in Policoro, probably because a severe storm about three weeks ago destroyed a lot and many places were closed.

The location was 200 meters from the beach, with excellent facilities: a pool, outdoor movie nights, a great breakfast, and unlimited coffee. The room wasn’t cleaned and we found a few ants. The A/C wasn’t strong enough. Most staff were a bit rude, except for one gentleman on the night shift who really tried to help. We had to leave for Rome at 6:00, but breakfast only started at 7:00, so he prepared a personal breakfast and coffee for us at 6:00 and even handed me a water bottle for the road.

A pleasant, well‑maintained hotel. The room, bathroom, and balcony were a good size. The pool and beach are a few minutes’ walk (two minutes by car), and there’s covered parking. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was good. In the area you can visit two interesting sites: Rocca Imperiale and Metaponte.
