The host was very friendly and super responsive to messages. The room was nice for a 1‑night stay. Close to a bus stop and grocery store. Request was fulfilled promptly. Great value. The toilet is not pictured for a reason. One side of the seat is nearly touching a wall, and the other side has a small gap of maybe a few inches. If you are a bigger human you may not be able to use it. I tried, but had to go in a public restroom elsewhere. Other reviews did mention this but I didn't see it. Be aware.

“A last-ditch bedroom in a terraced house where you never see the host.”

The location was very convenient and the bed was large and very comfortable, plus the water on arrival was extremely welcome. The place was extremely hard to find because it’s just a house, with no external indication that it is a place to stay. Entry was by keybox, and that was fine but without the e‑mail beforehand I’d have been lost as to which room was mine. I had to find the bathroom by trial and error, and it was tiny, hardly room to turn round in it, as well as on a landing shared between I don’t know how many people. It also backed straight onto my room so I knew when anyone did use it. The room was extremely hot, and the large fan supplied made little difference to that in the heatwave, as neither did opening the window. I did not sleep well. There was no breakfast either expected or provided.

The host family was great, very fine people who helped me out whenever I needed. All good.

“We had a good nights sleep. The owner messaged us with instructions , helpful.”

The bed was very comfortable and the room stayed very clean, but the bedroom, bathroom, and toilet were all quite small.
