Our time at Unyati Lodge was truly remarkable, thanks to the staff’s kindness and warmth that greeted us from the start. Every team member made us feel welcomed right away. The meals were delightful, with Chef July personally greeting us and crafting tasty vegetarian dishes throughout our visit, showing a level of care that mattered. The lodge itself is gorgeous, set in a lovely location where wildlife visits the property regularly. The sunsets and sunrises are simply breathtaking, among the best we’ve seen. This trip happened to include my birthday, and Unyati Lodge made it a memorable celebration. We wholeheartedly recommend it. Thanks to everyone involved!

Before we even arrived, the team kept in touch to make sure we wouldn’t get lost and waited for us when we got there, which was fantastic. The lodge staff were welcoming, and the G.M., manager, and others kept checking in to see if everything was fine, treating us like we were at home. The shower water was always hot and reliable. The food was outstanding—rated 1000/10—and the chef ensured dishes suited everyone. The bartender and waiter were great conversationalists, sharing laughs. The property is stunning, and we could see animals inside the lodge. The only downside was that upon arrival I was told about extra accommodation charges I had to pay. I booked through a platform, not the lodge’s site, so I was surprised to learn there were additional fees. I’ve always used that platform and never had to pay extra at the property I booked, so this was a first for me…
