“Modernes Hotel an historischem Ort”
The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a nice view. We stayed in a street‑side room on the ground floor, right by the pedestrian zone, but the music cafe across the street was very loud. The pub/café was supposedly open 24/7, and although the hotelier called the police at 4 am, the noise persisted until then. I can’t say if this is always the case, but next time I’ll specifically ask for a quieter room. Rooms without air conditioning can get very hot in summer.
Breakfast lived up to expectations—nowadays every hotel offers a generous spread. The spot was ideal, right in the old town yet reachable by car with a parking space right outside the door. The rooms were modern and roomy, and the bathrooms were up to date.
Reception was handled by Frau Kümmel, and the breakfast was very good and plentiful.
The location was spot‑on.
