Hotel O Jaya Kusuma

“Es hätte so schön sein können, aber.....”

The apartment is genuinely lovely and offers a beautiful view from the 8th floor. Unfortunately, we had to complain about the condition of the apartment after arrival, as it had not been properly cleaned, which really dampened our stay. We had to file a complaint upon our return because the owners simply handed over an unclean apartment to guests!

Everything was great. The price matches the standard. I recommend it.

“安い”

The location is good. The downside is that it faces a road with heavy traffic, so I couldn’t sleep well.

“Skvělá lokace, ale spíše pro otrlé..”

The hostel is very close to the Prambanan temple – about a 10‑minute walk to the gate, though you have to cross a very busy four‑lane road. It also has a private parking lot, and it was nice to receive two bottles of water and for the staff to be friendly and willing to solve our cockroach issues. The room and bathroom are fine for the price range. Unfortunately, roaches were running around the room and there was a pile of dead roaches under the bed, which the staff vacuumed out at our request and even offered us a different room. Since roaches were also on the hallways, the room change didn’t feel like a solution. If you’re a fairly resilient person, staying near Prambanan is fine. The location is perfect.

Close to Prambanan. Even though our booking was confirmed and paid, the receptionist claimed he couldn’t find our reservation on his app. We eventually located it, but we were marked as a ‘no show’ even though we arrived at 3 pm. After arguing with him for a while, he finally agreed to accept our booking. This is the second time I’ve had trouble with an Oyo‑affiliated hotel and it will definitely be last.
