The amenities, silence, cleanliness, and parking at the door were all good. The shower head material was damaged and the interior stairs were problematic.

The spot was great, but the place was dirty, dusty and damp.

The only good thing was the location, right across from the University of Coimbra’s Law School where I was doing research. There was no coffee machine as promised, the apartment was too small, the stairwell was a wooden, dangerous set of stairs, and the whole night was filled with the clatter of people going up and down; the upper floor was noisy with occupants moving around, every step echoing on the wooden floor, making it impossible to sleep—a disaster that almost made me book a hotel instead.
