“Not as bad as I thought based on reviews, but lacking for a B&B”

The spot was nicely secluded and the housekeeper was friendly when spotted, yet it felt more like an AirB&B than a proper B&B, with roomservice only on request. The breakfast was disappointing—everything was pre‑packaged and frozen. Staying off‑season meant the place was empty, which was both pleasant and a bit off‑putting. Apart from a few run‑ins with the housekeeper, it basically offered an AirB&B experience without the usual perks like kitchen access.

It was too hot and the AC was insufficient.

“We didn’t stay—we were so shocked by its appearance, we left.”

We found the property so unappealing that we never entered—the yard and surroundings were untidy, no other guests, and not a single vehicle was parked in the driveway; it looked abandoned. The hosts only offered a 3rd‑floor room and no one was around to help us. The photos must have been taken years ago—the place was run down and in disrepair. After one glance at the grounds, both of us agreed we couldn’t stay there.

“Horrible smell in main building possible mold.Room in 2nd building wasn't ready, looked recently in”

Nothing good; the staff were horrible, the location awful, so I left immediately and drove 3 hours to Philadelphia. They refused a refund. Never use this place or the app that put me there.
