The location was close to town and very convenient, but we were not told that the restaurant and spa were closed on Monday, so we couldn’t enjoy either.

The rooms were excellent and super comfy, but there was no staff on site and everything stayed shut while we were there.

The spa estate was charming and discreet on the outskirts of town; breakfast was delivered to the balcony, the room was tastefully decorated, comfort and cleanliness were supreme, and you could also sample local wines from Texas wineries.

The grounds and rooms were wonderful, with great beds and plush robes, but the WiFi was dead; we were just relaxing and used our phones, but it would have been a pain if we had to work.
