“A lovely retreat”
The tiny private terrace was a pleasant surprise that we loved; the location is great for walking, swimming, and relaxing; the breakfast was huge and tasty, and we also enjoyed the restaurant at night—one vegetarian, one carnivore—and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed during a heatwave, but our basement room was cool and well ventilated, and we were happy with the stay; we also appreciated that there was no TV. The only thing we missed was a way to make tea or coffee.
