I came to attend a conference in Kiên Giang and stayed alone, so here’s what I thought: 1. The receptionist and owner were enthusiastic and sweet, helping me choose a suitable room and suggesting local spots to visit. 2. The homestay is just a 20‑meter walk from a supermarket across the street, near local eateries with cheap lunch options and a nearby takeaway. The neighborhood is quiet, and the elevator makes it easy to carry luggage after a long day. 3. The room had a hair dryer that I had to borrow from the front desk, and the bathroom was clean and fairly comfortable. The downside was that the area is residential, so the newer entertainment spots like Phú Cường city are a bit farther away, and places like Vincom and restaurants are not very close.

The location and youthful room design were great, but the bed wasn’t secured properly.

The spot was perfect for a night before catching the ferry the next morning, the place was spotless and well kept, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I didn’t find any negatives.
