The hotel is super close to the station and the port, so getting around was a breeze. The room was spotless from top to bottom and the bed was so soft that the sleep was perfect. Even the shared bathroom and toilet were clean and turned out to be more comfortable than I expected. Overall, the place shows a lot of thoughtfulness in every detail. The only downside is that because it doubles as a home and a restaurant, sound carries a bit, so the soundproofing felt a touch lacking; but with earplugs I slept soundly without any issues.

I arrived 30 minutes before the official check‑in time and was happily welcomed. The room felt like a home away from home, and I slept soundly and comfortably. The facilities weren’t brand‑new but were clean. Unfortunately, the breakfast I’d heard about didn’t start on time, so I missed it, but owner Yoko (or something like that) kindly offered me canned coffee. The izakaya’s karaoke was audible during its opening hours, but since I was drinking, it didn’t bother me at all.

The location was great—close to the station, the harbor, and a rental car office. A single Chinese woman ran the place and seemed like a motherly figure for travelers. The included morning meal was a plus: toast, salad, and coffee—a simple menu that’s quick enough for rushed travel days. The property was converted from a vacant house into a lodging spot, so there’s only one shared women’s toilet, washroom, and bath, leading to queues. I’d just head over when I heard it was free.

Breakfast and dinner were both very good, and the restaurant below (also owned by Yoko) served them.
