The host was very welcoming and helpful, and we got our rooms early, which was convenient. The breakfast terrace had a view of the river, and the outdoor areas were well furnished and pleasant to sit in. A few 'creatures' entered our room, but that’s expected with the bedroom huts. Mosquito nets and spray were provided.

The vibe and environment were nice. However, during the rainy season the surrounding plants attract many unwanted guests like bugs and rats.

A beautiful oasis by the river, an amazing find for the price, with traditional bungalows each uniquely different, and lovely seating areas with river views for breakfast or dinner. A pool table was an added bonus. The staff, from the owners to the employees, were exceptional, including the three gorgeous dogs. The only downside was that there wasn’t much to do within walking distance, but a tuk‑tuk for less than $1 easily solved that.

The family running the Cabana are very sweet and helpful, creating a relaxed, homely, and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed hanging out in the bar/lounge where you can eat, play games, and read. Getting into town by tuk‑tuk is easy, and walking is also doable. Be prepared with mosquito repellent because there are many, and since the huts are basic, the mosquito net provided is essential.

A super cozy place a little out of the center (which I loved because it’s quieter). The room is nicely decorated and equipped, the common area invites you to chill, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They gave great recommendations, organized a scooter for me, and took good care of me overall. Highly recommend!
