The people were lovely, the accommodation exceptional, and the food outstanding. The room was large, very clean, with a comfortable bed, hot water, and warmth inside. The owner of the guesthouse has an extraordinary kindness and provides tourists with all necessary information. The tourist sites are located at a relatively short distance from the guesthouse (approximately 15‑20 km). The food portions are very generous and have a distinct taste, showing the host’s effort to satisfy the guests staying here. We will definitely return to this little paradise!

Una experiencia increíble en Breb. El lugar maravilloso, tranquilo , de desconexion total y muy familiar. La casa y las habitaciones preciosas.La dueña, Ileana y su hija Lenuta encantadoras , muy simpáticas y nos entendimos estupendamente a pesar de no saber rumano. Decidimos cenar y desayunar alli y la comida increíble, muy rica, cocinada por ellas y abundante . El sitio era muy tradicional, tuvimos hasra la oportunidad de ver como ella ordeñaba una vaca. Desde luego y sin ninguna duda recomiendo este sitio. Una experiencia para no olvidar. Todo me pareció estupendo pero solo por decir algo el camino es una pista de tierra, para nosotros no fue ningun problema ya que se lleva muy bien y hay que pensar q en esa aldea es todo así. Es simplemente un comentario para que no sorprenda a nadie

I was warmly welcomed by the owner and her daughter and arrived just in time to enjoy a superb dinner. I was very hungry; soup, main course, dessert, and schnapps were all served. The house, outbuildings, garden, and all amenities are huge. The room was absolutely amazing—enormous, heated, and a massive double bed for me alone. The bed was super cozy, and the large bathroom had a modern shower. It was the best and biggest house on my entire 10‑day trip through Romania. The other guests (a Belgian film crew) also added to the great atmosphere. Breakfast was equally excellent and opulent at a very reasonable price. No more service could be better. I felt fantastic and slept as well as I hadn’t in a long time.

What thrilled us most was the authenticity—if you want to see culture and tradition, this is the spot. Much of what’s on the table comes from our own fields and is harvested during the day. Dinner and breakfast were gigantic, both in quantity and taste! A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience a piece of traditional Maramureș. The only downside is that the pension is on an unpaved, hilly road that’s not easy to navigate, especially with oncoming traffic.
