The spot was convenient and the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was tasty, but there was maintenance work all day and the drilling noise was so loud I couldn't even take a call or rest in my room; despite asking several times, they couldn't stop it, which was awful.

The location was fine, but every room had a smoke smell from carpets, curtains, and bathrooms that weren't cleaned; my room was swapped three times and still didn't meet expectations.

cleaned room, washrooms etc. Checkin communication was not followed even after calling at reception. If someone is coming to town for work who will check in after 2 PM? whoever come for work always try to finish as many as possible meetings during the day time and rest in evening. If 2 PM check in policy is so strict then its useless, if you want more money for early check in then it should be available, this is not for staff because staff works as per the instructions by their bosses. If person check in 2 PM in hotel (which does not happen on time anyways) then are you expecting that they should work in night or are you saying come one day before because its 2 PM check in? This policy does not make any sense for business travel at all
