The staff were kind, but the osso bucco at the end of the buffet around 19.15 was so tough that I gave up trying to cut it.

I was there for business, the location was great, and the surrounding area and grounds seemed perfect for outdoor activities, yet the restaurant closed at 20:30 and I had never seen a restaurant close that early; because I arrived late I missed the evening meal.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and attentive, but the hotel is very old‑fashioned and the price‑performance ratio is not good.

We had a short stay at the hotel; it is well‑located for hiking and a quick drive to Koblenz, our room was quiet, very clean, and had a small balcony. The pool and surrounding area were also clean and offered plenty of space to relax. My husband received a massage that he liked very much, the team knows their craft. Breakfast was great, and we ordered twice in the evening at the restaurant, everything was very tasty. The hotel team, including Frau Ehlscheid‑Schelzke, were very friendly and helpful. A pleasant surprise was the little gift bag at the door; we found daily room cleaning unnecessary for the short stay. Thank you! The only downside was the odd floor tiles on the balcony, but they didn't bother us.
