Everything was great: the fireplace, the very good breakfast, and the facilities. Excellent value, I’ll stay again. Parking is limited (and pricey), and the check‑in experience wasn’t the best.

The location is great—close enough to town but still peaceful with nice lake views, and the tracks and water taxi access are convenient. The rooms are tidy and the facilities are solid. The staff were excellent, even when dinner fell short: we waited 1.5 hours after ordering at Stacks, then everything arrived together, which pushed the brownie and ice cream service to about 10 pm—unideal with two hungry kids. Breakfast was on the package but we weren’t on the list; it was a minor glitch, and the staff handled it well, but it broke the seamless flow.

The hotel isn’t far from town, reachable by water ferry, and there are a few dining options nearby. The downside is that the balcony is shared.

We stayed five nights and the hotel was gorgeous, comfortable, and very relaxing, with stunning views. Our room was spacious, super clean, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout. It was a lovely place to return to after exploring Queenstown and the surrounding areas. We had no complaints at all.
