The room is spacious, clean, and well equipped, but the soundproofing is poor because the cistern in another room could be heard all night.

The hotel feels like a cute boutique in a quieter, less busy and safer area, and it has a restaurant that’s handy when you can’t make other plans. Some staff were delightful, but most seemed just “there for work” and you could tell by their lack of joy.

The location is great and the staff are friendly; it’s about a 10‑minute walk to the subway and another 10 minutes to the Guel Park.
