It was decent, nothing terrible, but nothing that blew me away either. For the nightly rate we expected something spectacular, yet that didn’t materialize. We were never told beforehand that spa bookings were required; when I asked the owner, she said reservations had to be made well in advance—a real let‑down. The second let‑down was the lack of a quiet luxury spa vibe at the pool; we were told the pool was rented out to a swim team that used almost the whole space, leaving only one lane—though that lane isn’t even a proper lane. While we tried to unwind, about twenty non‑guests were racing and training in the pool. The final disappointment was the room itself and the missing basic comforts you’d expect at a comparable chain hotel. For the price and spa promise, we’d at least want robes, slippers, and other standard touches, but those were absent. Overall, it was very basic.
