The lodge has potential, but it looks abandoned. The owners were there and the gentleman was very polite, unlike the other staff. The photos were altered by AI, there was a lot of mold, a strong smell, and we couldn't sleep. The employees were always on their phones, and when we asked for help they didn't respond. There was no lighting, leaving the whole lodge in darkness at night. My wife forgot her work laptop, I reported it, and they still haven't gotten back to me. The room had no blanket, so my daughter, wife, and I spent two days without one. The water they served was yellow; they said it was from the filter. On the day we arrived, they did maintenance and we had to shower with extremely cold water. The next day they worked on the electrical system on a Saturday, leaving us without power constantly. I did a quick clean in the kids' area, and a beautiful dog that was roaming the lodge (the lodge's dog) bit a child and tried to bite my daughter. It's reckless to let a dog loose without any assistance or warning for guests.

Great space and showers with excellent heating, but there were clear signs of poor maintenance in the common areas.

Comfort, service, and breakfast were good, but the location is far from town, so you need a car for everything.

The staff were attentive, the place was pretty, and the bed was comfortable, but on the day the lodge was emptier, breakfast fell short.
