The spot was great, just a ten‑minute walk from Hakata Station, which let us wander the streets and visit nearby shrines like Sumiyoshi‑jinja, so I’d definitely stay again. When I first booked the hotel the search results said it was within walking distance of the Yahoo! O! Dome (around 20 minutes), but that turned out to be wrong – maybe my search engine glitched – and I had to rely on navigation while driving to locate the place, which was a bit tricky; also, I was a little confused by the tablet check‑in process.

The location is convenient, making it easy to grab a taxi to the airport and offering good value for money, but having to climb stairs is somewhat inconvenient and I wasn’t aware there was a lodging tax.
