The hotel was lovely, with rooms that were both spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were welcoming and approachable, quickly answering our questions about transport, restaurants, and more. The price was great, but the location was not ideal for walking around and it was hard to get into town for dinner.

The view of the lake from the balcony was fantastic! The manager was very kind and gave us good tips about the surroundings, especially for walking to Menaggio via a nice trail. Parking nearby was free and easy. We couldn’t try the pool, which would be a plus in summer. It was a shame we couldn’t have breakfast outdoors, but the buffet was generous and of good quality.

The hotel is very well maintained and organized, always spotless, giving a great first impression. The room for me, my wife, and my son was excellent in size, with comfortable beds, a good bathroom, and a balcony with a great view. The hotel manager was always present and very helpful, and he kindly offered us croissants to take when we had to check out before breakfast. The cleaning staff impressed with their speed and excellent service. The only downside was the location, as the hotel is relatively far from the city center, so everything you want to do requires a car. We tried walking to the city center (about 2 km), but the road was steep, dangerous, and lacked sidewalks, forcing us to walk very close to cars on the winding road. For the price paid (about 730 euros for a weekend for a family of three), it might be possible to find a hotel closer to the city center.

The welcome was kind and attentive; everything was very clean and organized. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The room was spacious and bright. We will return!
