“Experiência terrível”

We arrived and immediately hit a snag: the room assigned was a clear downgrade from what we booked, a cramped space that made a triple stay uncomfortable and inadequate. When we voiced our concerns at reception, they offered no alternative, claiming full occupancy even though the hotel was clearly not full. Cleanliness and maintenance were abysmal across the board: the main staircase carpet had visible stains and a filthy look; in the room one pillowcase had base stains and hair inside, another pillow showed a clear moisture or saliva mark; the shower area was poorly sealed, causing water to flood the bathroom and spill into the room, forcing us to use bath towels on the floor to keep water from entering the room. Reporting the water leak yielded no solution from the staff. I do not recommend this hotel; the lack of quality control in cleaning and the passive, indifferent attitude of management and reception towards guest issues were unacceptable.

“Excelente Recomendo a que fira visitar a linda cidade de Guimarães”

The house is beautiful and well restored, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing else to note.

Carlos was spectacular and treated us very well, practically acting as a guide for what to see in Guimaraes. Great service.
