“Für einen Kurzaufenthalt völlig in Ordnung”

The place is in a great spot on the Theresienwiese, an old building with a nice bathroom. I liked the breakfast option that lets you order just a coffee and a croissant. The staff were very friendly. My room had a balcony. The room was super cold; I turned up the heater but it made a loud, splashing noise at first. The floor was carpeted and there were a few short hairs in the shower. Otherwise it was clean. There was no fridge or minibar.

The rooms have a beautiful design that feels both elegant and homely. Everything looked very high‑quality and well‑maintained, like the dimmed lighting in the bathroom, a good hair dryer, and a floor‑level shower with a rainfall head. The staff were friendly and helpful, and all necessary information was communicated very well. The breakfast buffet had a large and tasty selection. Even though the hotel sits on a street corner, our room was pleasantly quiet, as was the breakfast area.

They turned the entire reception and bar area into a nightclub, making it impossible to reach the room without pushing past guards and shoving away full guests. We switched hotels and haven’t received any compensation or apology, even though they promised to follow up. The shower was broken and the hotel was generally worn out compared to the pictures; the courtyard couldn’t be used because it was closed for temporary bars and a food truck. Paying £1200 for two nights at a nightclub is completely incomprehensible.
