Getting away from home was nice, but there was a bad odor in the room.

The staff were friendly and always tried to help and make you happy, going above and beyond. However, the first room assigned had a bad smell and was close to the main door; the door was never locked even though the sign said it must be. A second room was then given, but it leaked water from the roof, the water ran on and off, the Wi‑Fi was bad, and the TV didn’t work – they did say the TV was broken. The couch in that room was so dirty you wouldn’t want to sit on it, the glass door wouldn’t lock, and you had to pray for safety with a glass door that couldn’t lock itself. There were no carpets to stand on, the towel on the bed had holes, and there were dead cockroaches on the floor.

They moved us to another room at 11 pm, and that room was better. The shower door pulled out of the wall, so it couldn’t close properly. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, and the bed had many lumps, making sleep terrible. We had to change rooms at 11 pm. The geyser broke after one of us showered, so water ran outside next to the window and we couldn’t sleep. Something was loose on the roof, and with the wind you could hear a loud noise all the time. The glass in the front doors was broken. There was more, but this should suffice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, making the stay a pleasure. The place didn’t have coffee, and the bathroom really needed a deep scrub, especially the grout and around the taps, and the toilet dripped.
