The morning view of the lake is simply perfect.

It’s a quiet and beautiful spot along the river. The owner was really helpful and willing to go out of his way. The bathroom had a funky smell, possibly from chemical cleaning supplies, but I found it Dawson.

If you’re looking for a cheap, simple spot with a beautiful lake view and private beach, you’re in the right place, though the bathroom drainage was slow and water accumulated after each shower.

Everything was perfect—big love for the place and for Sarah, the owner; the isolated location was just right, Sarah’s cooking was fantastic, and her availability and kindness made the stay unforgettable.
