The rooms were adequate with basics, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, but the facilities were unremarkable and the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations, including the floor in our room; the terrace shown in photos was closed with no notice, and the first night coffee was served in the room but not the second, which makes no sense since each night costs the same and isn’t cheap; when we asked, they said they wouldn’t provide more.

The room and bathroom were fine, but they assured me there would be no problem preparing a gluten‑free breakfast, yet they had no allergy knowledge, serving fruit with a flour cookie decorating the plate (both days), and the main dish always came with wheat bread; additionally, the breakfast was on demand and seemed scanty.
