They offer a wide range of breakfast foods and the first‑floor location works well; the most impressive thing is that they even prepare some items to order. The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. The food‑service area could be a bit larger, and the elevators are too narrow for more than three people. It would be nice if the rooms had a small fridge or a microwave for storing food.

The location was excellent, the restaurant served tasty food, and the rooftop pool was nice and quiet because we arrived just before it closed; the room was standard but acceptable, and the bed was fine. The shower had a fixed head instead of a handheld option, the closet was in the bathroom which felt odd and could use coat hooks on the wall, and the place could use some renovation and polishing, but nothing major was wrong.

I’ve been traveling to Tuxpan for ages and I always book rooms at May Palace with the same folks. The service was consistently attentive, and I’m grateful for that.
